Samir Vincent '62
- A superb athlete who competed in high jump, long jump,
triple jump, hurdles, discus, and javelin.
- Instrumental to Boston College's 1962 New England
championship, the Eagles' first-ever regional title.
- Eastern collegiate triple jump champion in 1962 and third in
NCAA championships, earning All-America honors.
- Represented his native Iraq in 1964 Olympics.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1990.
