Athletic Event Parking
FOOTBALL EVENT DAYS
General Public Parking:
- Visiting team fan parking is located at our Needham Satellite parking location (HP accessible).
- A complimentary shuttle system will take fans between the Needham Satellite lot and campus starting 2 ½ hours prior to kickoff, runs continuously throughout the game, and for two hours after the game has finished.

- Parking in the neighborhoods surrounding Boston College is prohibited and will result in towing at the owner's expense.
MBTA:
- Visiting fans can also utilize Boston's public transportation trains (The "T").
- One-way trip fares are $2.00 per person each way.
- Fans should be directed to use the Green line via trains B, C, or D to get to Boston College.
Flynn Fund Permit Holder Parking/Tailgating:
- On campus football game day parking is restricted to Flynn Fund Permit holders only. For more information about joining the Flynn Fund and receiving on campus parking privileges call 617-552-0772.
- For all games parking lots will open 3 hours before kick-off.
- Flynn Fund Permit holders should follow the directions listed on the reverse side of their permit for best access to their parking area.
- Traffic will be directed by the BCPD and signs will be posted to identify parking areas.
University Issued Permits:
- During the football season, all vehicles including university issued permit holders, must be removed from campus by 11:00 PM the evening prior to scheduled home games.
- Students with resident permitted vehicles (SRF permits only) may park on the Newton Campus for home football games.
- Vehicles remaining on the Chestnut Hill campus after 11:00 PM will be towed at the owner's expense.
- Parking in the neighborhoods surrounding Boston College is prohibited and will result in towing at the owner's expense.
MEN'S BASKETBALL AND MEN'S ICE HOCKEY EVENT DAYS
- Campus parking lots open for event attendees 1.5 hours prior to the start of the event.
- Traffic will be directed by the BCPD and signs will be posted to identify event parking areas.
General Public Parking
- The general public will be asked to enter campus via the St. Ignatius Gate. Parking will be provided in various lots such as the Commonwealth Avenue Garage, Robsham Lot, and the Rec Plex. Boston College Police Officers will be available to direct general public to the nearest available parking location.

Flynn Fund/University Issued Permit Holder Parking
- The Beacon Street Garage will be reserved for PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY (Boston College issued parking permits or Flynn Fund parking permits), and will be restricted through 15 minutes after the start of the event when all on campus parking will be open to the general public.
- Certain Flynn Fund Parking Permits will also be allowed to park on Campanella Way.
- Flynn Fund Permit Holders should follow the directions listed on the reverse side of their permit for best access to their parking area.
- Note: Fifteen minutes after the start of an event a limited number of spaces will be reserved on Level 2 of the Beacon St. garage through the duration of the event to accommodate faculty, staff, and students arriving later in the day.
Campus Visitors Not Attending the Event
- The Beacon Street garage will close to VISITORS at 3:00 pm on weekday event days and 3 hours prior to the start of the event on weekends.
- All visitors will be asked to enter campus through the St. Ignatius Gate, receive a visitor's permit
from the gate attendant and be directed to park in the Commonwealth Avenue Garage.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL EVENT DAYS
General Public Attending the Event
- Campus parking lots open for event attendees 1.5 hours prior to the start of the event.
- Individuals attending these events should park in the Beacon St. garage levels 3 & 4 or in the
Commonwealth Avenue Garage above level 3.
- Parking is free of charge in both the Beacon St. and Commonwealth Avenue Garages on a women's basketball game day.

Campus Visitors Not Attending the Event
- The Beacon Street Garage will close to VISITORS at 3:00 pm on weekday event days and 3 hours prior to the start of the event on weekends.

VOLLEYBALL, WOMEN'S ICE HOCKEY, SOFTBALL, BASEBALL, TENNIS, SWIMMING, & FENCING EVENT DAYS
- Campus parking lots open for event attendees 1.5 hours prior to the start of the event.
- Individuals attending these events should park in the Beacon St. garage levels 3 & 4 or in the
Commonwealth Avenue Garage above level 3.

- Monday through Friday parking in the Beacon St. and Commonwealth Avenue Garages is free for the first 20 minutes and is $3.00 for each additional hour. The daily maximum is $20.00.
- Parking in the Beacon St. and Commonwealth Avenue Garages is free on weekends from Friday at
5:00 PM until Monday at 2:00 AM.
MEN'S & WOMEN'S SOCCER, FIELD HOCKEY, & WOMEN'S LACROSSE EVENT DAYS
- For Men's & Women's Soccer, Field Hockey & Women's Lacrosse parking is available at the
Newton Sports Complex.
- Campus parking lots open for event attendees 1.5 hours prior to the start of the event.
- Parking is free for all athletic events at the Newton Campus Sports Complex.
