Peter Pasquarosa is in his second year at Boston College as an assistant coach. He helped guide the Eagles to a school-record 37 wins last season.
Prior to BC, he spent 13 seasons at the helm of the Franklin program where his teams averaged 14 victories a season. In 2000, the Panthers reeled off 21 consecutive wins, setting a new school record. Pasquarosa was named the 2000 Boston Globe Coach of the Year and ABCA Regional Coach of the Year.
The former Georgia Southern shortstop has led Franklin to the postseason for the past 10 seasons. Between 1997 and 2000, the Panthers won three Hockomock League Championships and appeared in three sectional finals, winning one.
Pasquarosa has twice coached in the Cape Cod Baseball League - last summer with the Harwich Mariners and in 1991 with the Yarmouth Dennis Red Sox. Thirty-three of his players at Franklin have gone on to play college baseball.
Pasquarosa and his wife, Linda, reside in Franklin, Mass. They have four children - Aimee 26, Nick 23, Anthony 20 and Tyler 18.
