• Grabbed six rebounds in two home wins -- against Colorado and Texas-San Antonio.

HIGH SCHOOL

• Averaged 26.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game as a senior guard/forward at North Pulaski High School in Jacksonville, Arkansas; led his team to a 20-9 record and the second round of the state tournament.
• Earned All-State, All-Area, All-Metro and All-City accolades as a senior; captured All-State honorable mention honors as a junior.
• Earned 4A East Conference MVP honors as a senior.
• Served as team captain as a junior and senior.
• Played for head coach Charles Hervey.
• Was a member of the Arkansas Wings team that captured AAU national titles in 1993, 1994 and 1995.

• Michael is the middle of Robyn and Michael Cotton's three children; his father is a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.

GETTING AROUND Because of his father's position in the U.S. Air Force, Michael Cotton has had the opportunity to explore many parts of the United States. He had lived in six locations, before landing at the University of Oklahoma in 1995.
