Led Boston College to three Big East regular-season crowns and one Big East Tournament title; has led BC to postseason tournament berths in each of the last six seasons
Led the 2000-01 Eagles to a 27-win season and a #3 seed in the NCAA Tournament, the highest seed in school history; that team also captured the Big East regular-season and tournament titles
Served as an assistant coach for Team USA at the 2001 World University Games in Beijing, China

Recorded 1,235 points, 749 rebounds and 320 assists in 79 games; ranked fifth on the school's career scoring list, third in career assists, first in career field-goal percentage (.557) and ninth in career rebounding average ( 9.5) at the time of his graduation
Currently ranks 16th on the school's career scoring list, third in career field-goal percentage, 10th in career rebounding average and 10th in career assists
Was drafted by the American Basketball Association's New York Nets in the eighth round of the 1974 draft
Named to the ABA All-Rookie Team in 1974-75 as a member of the New York Nets
Helped lead the Nets to the 1976 ABA Championship
Played for the New Jersey Nets, Detroit Pistons and Philadelphia 76ers from 1977-1980
Led his team Joventut (Barcelona, Spain) to the European Championship in 1980-81
