Boston College finished 2nd at the New England Championships, winning 84 of their 107 individual bouts. The sabre squad led the way, posting 29 wins to place first among the sabre squads during the team round.
Will Baker and Ian Griswold qualified to the individual round where they placed 2nd and 5th. Foil finished 3rd in their squad standings, two wins behind first place Brandeis. Sjur Hoftun and Sean Hickey made it to the individual round, finishing 3rd and 9th.
The epee squad got off to a slow start in the team round, finishing only fourth. Nonetheless, BC was the only school to qualify all three of its epee fencers to the individuals where they continued to gain steam, finishing 2nd, 3rd and 9th.
