Men's Fencing Takes Tenth At IFA Championships

Providence, R.I. - The Boston College men's fencing team competed at the IFA Championships this weekend at Brown University. The Eagles took 10th place in the 11 team event.

The epee squad had the highest finish of the competition for the Eagles. BC took sixth place in the team epee. Alex Rios finished 12th and Sam Richardson took 15th in the individual epee.

Both the foil and saber squads came in 10th place in the team competition.

The 6-weapon team took ninth place with 62 points. Harvard won the event with 155 points.

BC will compete in the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships on Sunday, March 6.
