Football Hosts Central Michigan On Halloween

The Boston College football team will look to get back in the win column when it hosts Central Michigan on Halloween this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The game will be aired on ESPNU and the BC/ISP Radio Network.

Golden Tate had 11 catches for 128 yards and two touchdowns to lead Notre Dame to a 20-16 victory over Boston College on Saturday, ending a six-game losing streak to the Eagles. The Eagles (4-3) repeatedly burned the Notre Dame defense as Dave Shinskie threw for a season-high 279 yards and a touchdown, but the Irish came up with big plays, including two interceptions by Kyle McCarthy.
Gause To Honor Connecticut's Jasper Howard This Weekend

Boston College junior cornerback DeLeon Gause was one of the many people shocked and saddened at the tragic death of Connecticut cornerback Jasper Howard last weekend. While Howard's family is urging Connecticut to play for Howard when the team meets West Virginia this weekend, Gause is planning his own special way of remembering his old friend.
Harris Brings Home More Honors

Sophomore RB Montel Harris earned two more awards for his record-breaking performance against NC State on Saturday. He was named the ACC Offensive Back of the Week and the Football College Performance Awards National Player of the Week.
