Sophomore quarterback Matthew Ryan completed 11 of 18 passes for 203 yards as the Boston College football team held its first scrimmage of the spring season Saturday afternoon in Alumni Stadium. Ryan posted two touchdowns and two interceptions. Senior Quinton Porter, also throwing a pair of touchdowns along with two picks, went 13 for 23 for 144 yards.

BC saw action from three running backs. A.J. Brooks topped the list with 56 yards on 14 carries. Taylor Sele put up the best numbers out of the Eagle receivers. The junior caught two balls, each for touchdowns, and tallied 84 receiving yards. Sophomore Kevin Challenger and redshirt freshman Mike Naples caught a touchdown pass apiece.

Sophomore place kicker Ryan Ohliger was three for six in field goal tries. He split the uprights from 33, 27 and 38 yards.
