CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College, ranked 25th in the USA Today poll, will face its final road test of the season when it travels to Wake Forest on Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. showdown at BB&T Field. The Eagles still control their own destiny and with a pair of wins in the final two games will represent the Atlantic Division in the ACC Championship game in Tampa, Fla. on December 6.

"We are in control of our own destiny and we don't have to hope that anyone else wins or loses," senior QB Chris Crane said. "We just have to prepare and focus on ourselves. I think that helps a lot: not having to worry about anyone else subconsciously. We're going to go out and play our best football."

Wake Forest stands at 4-3 in the Atlantic Division and is a win ahead of BC which is 3-3. The Demon Deacons are coming off of a 21-17 setback at NC State last Saturday while the Eagles left Doak Campbell Stadium with a 27-17 upset win against Florida State.

Boston College will face another stingy defense when it takes the field Saturday as Wake Forest ranks second in the nation in turnovers gained (29), which is tied with the Eagles and Boise State, and third in turnover margin (1.40). The Demon Deacons have recovered 14 fumbles which ranks seventh in the country and their 15 interceptions are 11th.

"I know they are an aggressive defense," Crane added. "They have certain players who are trying to be difference makers who want to knock the ball out. I just see them as a team that really rallies to the football and plays with a lot of heart. If you put the ball on the ground, there are going to be about five or six defenders who are going to be there to pick it up. They play smart, they play hard, and they remind us a lot of ourselves.'

BC will return home to Alumni Stadium on November 29 to face Maryland in the season finale. Game time will either be at noon or 3:30 p.m. and a definite start time will be announced on November 23.
