The Boston College men's golf team finished in second place out of seven teams at the Treasure Coast Classic, a two-day tournament held at the Indian Hills Golf Club in Ft. Pierce, Fla. from March 3-4.

The Eagles recorded a team score of 9-over par (577) in the two-round event, 16 strokes behind Florida Atlantic, who won the competition with a 561.

Robert DeMaio led all BC individual golfers, carding rounds of 71 and 72 for a 1-over par finish, placing him in a tie for 6th place. Craig Kublin was close behind, shooting 73 and 72 to finish tied for 12th place.

Both Kevin Melnick and Kyle McCartan finished tied for 14th place with matching two-day scores of 146.

Junior captain Jan Prokop recorded the low round of the year for the Eagles, shooting a second-round 68 after recording an 80 in the first round to finish in a tie for 22nd place at 6-over par.

The men's team will be in action again in just over two weeks, from March 20-21, when they travel to Bethany Beach, DE for the George Washington Invitational.
