Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Boston College men's track and field team competed at the ACC Championship over the weekend finishing 12th. Mark Alizzi recorded the Eagles best finish, placing sixth in the 10,000-meter run.

Christopher Caulfield finished 19th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.92 seconds, while also placing 23rd in the 200.

Daniel LaFave recorded the Eagles best time of the season in the 800 with a time of 1:54.14, while Jeff Klatsky ran his season-best in 1:54.51.

James LaGreca finished 16th overall in the 1500, clocking in at 3:53.63, a team-best this outdoor season. Patrick Mellea finished closely behind LaGreca with a time of 3:55.66. Mellea also competed in the 5000, placing ninth and recording a team-best 14:32.71. Mark Alizzi and Corey Ahern each recorded season-best times in the same event.
