The Boston College men's swimming and diving team was defeated by Army 180-116 but managed to grab a win over Stony Brook, 203-85 during the first meet of the season on Oct. 10 in West Point, N.Y.

John Maloy finished the day with three second place finishes for the Eagles in the 1000 Yard Freestyle (9:51.89), the 500 Yard Freestyle (4:44.98) and the 200 Yard individual medley (1:56.45).

Timothy Corrigan grabbed a win for Boston College, finishing in 1:56.79 in the 200 Yard Butterfly.

The Eagles will return to action on Friday, Oct. 16 at 8:00 p.m. in Chestnut Hill.
