Complete Women's Results Get Acrobat Reader

The Boston College men's and women's swimming and diving team defeated Bryant yesterday with many strong individual performances at the Flynn Recreation Complex Pool. The men's team won 130-113, and the women's team won by a similar margin, 133-110.

On the women's side, Megan Tincher was named the meet's outstanding performer by head coach Tom Groden after a first place finish in the 200 backstroke (2:13.83) and a second place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.20).

The outstanding performance of the meet came from Ashley Leprine who recorded a first place finish in the 200 yard freestyle (2:00.91).

For the men, Peter Ferguson was named the Outstanding Performer. The freshman recorded wins in both the 50 freestyle (22.15) and the 100 freestyle (48.06).

Timothy Jordan received outstanding performance honors for his first place showing in the 200 breaststroke (2:17.89).

The men's team will next face Keene State at home on Sunday, while the women's team will take on Vermont in a home meet as well, at noon on Sunday.
