ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - The Boston College men's and women's tennis teams will compete as the 11th seed in the ACC Championships on Thursday afternoon at Sanlando Park. The tournament will run from April 17-20.

The women's team finished 9-12 overall, 1-10 in the ACC. The 4-3 victory against ACC foe Maryland (3/18/08) marked the first win for the Eagles since being affiliated with the conference. They will take on No. 19 Florida State (16-6, 6-5 ACC) at 3 p.m. on Thursday. The Seminoles defeated BC, 6-1, earlier this season.

The men's team posted a 9-15 overall record and 1-10 in ACC action. The men's squad also earned their first career ACC win, when they defeated Clemson, 4-3, on April 6th. The Eagles will play the No. 39 Duke Blue Devils (9-12, 6-5 ACC) on Thursday at 3 p.m. The Blue Devils swept BC earlier this season, 7-0.
