    TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Senior Timothy Ritchie ran to a 62nd place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships hosted by Indiana State on November 24. Ritchie ran the 10k in 30:34.9 and recorded the fourth-best time by an Atlantic Coast Conference runner in the event.

    Ritchie improved on his performance from the Northeast Regional in which he notched a 31:44.0 to finish seventh overall.

    Oregon's Galen Rupp took home the individual championship with a time of 29:04 and led the Ducks to the team championship with 93 points. Iona and Stanford rounded out the top three with 147 and 227 points, respectively.

    Ritchie developed into one of the nation's top runners this season. The Worcester, MA product led the Eagles in all seven races that he competed in and took home the individual crown at the New England Championship on October 11. He became the fourth BC male to be named New England champion.

    He was one of three runners in the conference who was named ACC Performer of the Week twice this year.
