Junior placed sixth at NCAA Northeast Regional Meet

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College junior Patrick Mellea was named to the NCAA Northeast Regional Cross Country Team. Mellea finished sixth overall at the NCAA Northeast Regional out of 230 runners. Mellea crossed the line with a time of 31:36.8 in the 10k event.

With this performance, Mellea qualified as an individual for the NCAA Cross Country National Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. The meet is Monday, November 20 and is hosted by Indiana State University.
