Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College women's fencing took home the New England Collegiate Championships Sunday at Wellesley College with a two-point victory over perennial champion MIT. Boston College won 92 bouts over the course of 14 rounds, while five fencers qualified for the individual rounds. Senior Meaghan O'Malley was 13-1 in the team round and ultimately took silver in the individual foil round. Fellow senior Clara Yum, 11-3 in the team rounds, finished second in epee.
