Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College women's field hockey team finished the weekend the way they started it, undefeated. The Eagles are now undefeated in their first four contests and have not allowed a goal in their last two games.

Senior forward Bob Dirks recorded a pair of goals to bring her season total to four, second on the team to linemate Chelsey Feole. Dirks scored her first goal and the only one the Eagles would need by dodging Holy Cross goalkeeper Erin Singleton when she came out to play the ball. Dirks dodged Singleton and put the ball in the cage to put BC up 1-0.

The Eagles laid on the pressure, with Dirks scoring her second goal of the game with just 15 seconds left on the clock to give BC a 2-0 lead going into the half.

BC added to their tally early in the second when sophomore defender Emily Kozniuk tallied her second goal of the season off a penalty stroke less than two minutes into the start of the second half.

Senior defender Kelley Smith tallied her first goal of the season, to give BC a 4-0 lead and their fourth victory.

BC's next contest will be a battle for Boston supremacy as they take on B-line rival Boston University, Wednesday September 17th at 7 p.m.
