TopDrawerSoccer.com Ranks Boston College 2009 Class The Boston College women's soccer team will welcome six new players for the 2009 campaign. This week, TopDrawerSoccer.com ranked the recruiting classes for the ACC and Boston College placed second behind North Carolina. The Eagles incoming class includes Kristen Mewis, Victoria DiMartino, Maddie Payne, Alicia Blose, Morgan Hiler and Jessica Petznick. According to TopDrawerSoccer.com, "the signing of Kristen Mewis and Victoria DiMartino is the best tandem pickup of any program in the country".

Women's Soccer Announces 2009 Schedule The Boston College women's soccer team announced the 2009 schedule. This season, the Eagles will play 12 home games, including the reigning national champion North Carolina Tar Heels in October, at the Newton Soccer Field Complex. The 2009 season has the Eagles pitted against 11 teams which competed in the 2008 NCAA Tournament. The Eagles will open the season on Friday, August 28 under the lights at the Newton Soccer Field against Fairfield (7 p.m.).

Three More Recruits Joins Women's Soccer Boston College head women's soccer coach Alison Kulik announced today the addition of Alicia Blose, Morgan Hiler and Jessica Petznick to the already heralded 2009 recruiting class. Blose, Hiler and Petznick will enroll at BC in September of 2009, joining previously committed Eagle recruits Kristen Mewis, Victoria DiMartino and Maddie Payne.

Perfect Spring Season for Women's Soccer The Spring Season went well for the women's soccer team. Boston College went undefeated at 5-0 after defeating Harvard, 1-0, in Lancaster, MA, last week. The Eagles also named the 2009 team captains - Kelly Henderson and Gina DiMartino.
