For the seventh consecutive season, Boston College is headed back to the NCAA Tournament as the Eagles (15-3-2) will host the first and second rounds of the tournament for the third consecutive season at the Newton Soccer Field. The seventh-seeded Eagles will open the tournament on Friday, November 13 against Harvard (9-6-1) and Boston University (14-5-2) and Connecticut (10-7-2) will play in the other first round game on Friday.

The first round games will be at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, while the second round will be on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m.

This is Boston College's 13th season in the tournament, ninth times with Alison Kulik as the Eagles head coach. Kulik has led BC into the round of 16 four of the last five seasons. Last year, Boston College earned a 2-0 win over Central Connecticut State followed by a second round victory over Northeastern, 4-0. In the Sweet 16, BC met ACC foe Florida State and lost 1-0.

Boston College is coming off a 1-1 record at the ACC Tournament. The Eagles played two overtime games, including a victory over Virginia on penalty kicks (0-0, 3-2 PKs) to advance to the semifinal. Sophomore goalkeeper Jillian Mastroianni was chosen to the ACC All-Tournament team after she made 16 saves in two games. Mastroianni had three saves against Virginia in the PK round and notched her career-high in saves with 11 in a touch 1-0 loss to North Carolina. Prior to the loss vs. UNC, the Eagles were unbeaten in eight consecutive games dating back to October 1.

BC and Harvard met earlier this season. On September 18, the Eagles defeated Harvard, 4-1, behind two goals from Victoria DiMartino, while Gina DiMartino added a goal and an assist. The Eagles and Crimson have played 33 times with Harvard leading the head-to-head series, 19-10-4. Since 1997 when Alison Kulik took over the program the series is even, 5-5-2. BC is 4-0-1 in the last five meetings.

Tickets for the games can be purchased by calling the Boston College Ticket Office at 617-552-4622 or go to www.bceagles.com for information.
