Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Sophomore Caroline Byron had three top-three finishes, including wins in the 50 and 200 freestyle, but the Eagles fell to the Huskies of Northeastern 161.5-138.5 last night at the Flynn Recreation Complex.

Despite winning only five events, the Eagles got strong performances from a number of swimmers. Senior captain Kim Garcia had two top-three finishes, including a win in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:14.60.

Junior Amy Bromann, and freshmen Caitlin Doherty and Ashley Leprine all earned top-three finishes as well in their respective events. Leprine placed second in the 100 and 200 yard breaststroke and finished third in the 200 yard IM. Bromann and Doherty each earned second place finishes in the 100 yard backstroke and 100 yard butterfly respectively.

The Eagles are back in action Sunday, October 29 at 12:00 p.m. when they race against the Bisons of Bucknell University at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
