Boston College won two of three doubles matches to earn the first point of the match, but dropped five of six singles matches to Virginia Tech, losing 5-2.
Szilvia Szegedi and Alina Sullivan teamed up to shutout Inga Beermann and Abbey Walker, while Lindsey Nash and Gia Nafarette defeated Ashley James and Jessica Brouwer, 9-7.
The Hokies would take five of the six singles matches however, as Sarah Svoboda earned the lone win for BC, dropping the Eagles to 7-13 overall and 0-11 in the conference.
The Eagles will travel to North Carolina for the ACC Championships which begin Thursday.
