Three Volleyball Players Named to All-ACC Academic Team

Feb. 11, 2008

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Three players from the Boston College volleyball team were named to the All-ACC Academic team, announced by the league last Friday.

Senior Abigail Hasebroock, junior Brittany Pierpont and freshman Audrey Eichler were among the 32 players recognized for their academic excellence.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.

Duke led the ACC with five selections to the team. BC along with Clemson, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina and Virginia Tech all had three members on the team. Virginia and Wake Forest added two members each, while Florida State and NC State each contributed one student-athlete.

Audrey Eichler was also named to the ACC All-Freshman team earlier this year.
