DURHAM, N.H. - The Boston College women's cross country team has competed in two races this season, both with the same result - a first place finish. The women dominated the four team field today at New Hampshire by sweeping the competition, earning a combined team score of 15. Senior captain Laura Smith finished first with a time of 19:36. Jennifer Donovan (19:37), Julie Spolidoro (19:37), Maria Cicero (19:39) and Laurel Burdick (19:39) finished second through fifth.

Boston College also had strong performances from Alexis Lake (7th - 20:46), Lora Mead (9th - 21:00), Cara Valeri (10th - 21:04) and Anne Hessberg (11th - 21:06)

The Eagles return to action on Saturday, Oct. 5, when they travel to Indiana to compete in the Indiana State Invitational.
